This class shall also apply to any commercial event organized for the purpose of profiting from the public at this facility.
			The commercial group/individual must furnish a comprehensive general liability policy, with the city named as an additional named insured, with limits of liability of not less than $500,000.00 combined single limit bodily injury and property damage per occurrence. The organization shall furnish the city with a certificate of insurance evidencing such coverage.
		c.	Alcohol is permitted at the Little Cedar Bayou Wave Pool only. An alcohol permit fee of $5.00 will be required for each event where alcohol will be consumed. Alcohol consumption will be confined to the area designated by the city.
	(2)	Northwest Park Swimming Pool:
		a.	*Base rental (maximum of 100 people), two-hour rentals only .....	100.00/hr
	(3)	It shall be the responsibility of the director of parks and recreation, or his designee, to determine the number of security officers required for each event and to arrange for such security service. The security charge will be the actual cost and will be in addition to the rental rate.
	(4)	Reservations for rentals of the Wave Pool and Northwest Pool may be made either by phone or in person at the parks and recreation administration office. Reservations must be accompanied by a reservation and damage deposit of $100.00 within 48 hours after booking. The reservation and damage deposit will reserve the facility for the lessee until rental payments are due and will provide protection to the lessor for any damage to the pools caused by lessee. Rental payment and security fee shall be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event. The reservation and damage deposit will be refunded to the lessee within 15 days after the event, less any deductions for damages incurred.
	(5)	Rental dates that are canceled shall provide written notice of the cancellation to the city at least two weeks prior to reservation date in order to receive a full refund.
	(6)	Rental of Wave Pool and Northwest Pool will be subject to reasonable rules and regulations, which shall be promulgated by the director of parks and recreation or his designee, with the approval of the city manager. The City of La Porte reserves the right to refuse rental to any person, firm, or group for lewd or immoral purposes, or where the activities of such group may reasonably be expected to result in a breach of the peace, or cause a threat to public health or safety.
	(7)	The parks and recreation director or his designee shall promulgate liability insurance requirements for lessees.
	(8)	Neither the City of La Porte, nor its lessees, shall make any charge for parking at the pools.
	(9)	The parks and recreation director, with approval from the city manager, will retain the privilege to work with city administration to discount admission prices and/or offer special events/programs.

		a.	Since sewer discharge is not metered, all volume charges shall be based on the total water volume charged to the customer.
		b.	Each minimum bill of residential, commercial and industrial shall include 2,000 gallons of sewage discharge treated each month.
		c.	Each minimum bill of apartment units, duplex units, individual mobile homes in mobile home parks, with units not individually metered for water, shall include 2,000 gallons of sewage discharge treated per unit, each month per unit.
		d.	Each additional 1,000 gallons treated for a customer each month shall be charged in accordance with the following schedule:
			1.	Residential, per 1,000 gallons .....	3.00
			2.	Commercial and industrial, per 1,000 gallons .....	3.00
			3.	Apartment units, duplex units, individual mobile homes in mobile home parks, with units not individually metered for water, per 1,000 gallons .....	3.00
		e.	Computation of volume based on water purchased
			1.	Residential: The volume of sewage treated shall be based on 85 percent of the resident's water volume billed each month. However, the maximum residential charge will be limited to .....	35.00
			2.	Commercial and industrial: The volume of sewage treated will be based upon 85 percent of the monthly water consumption.
			3.	Multiunits: The volume charge to apartment units, duplex units, individual mobile homes in mobile home parks, with units not individually metered for water, shall be based on 85 percent of the amount of water billed each month.
		f.	Senior citizen discount: Residential customers 60 years of age or older shall be entitled to a $2.00 monthly discount on their primary account.
